Damn Search Engines

When does one say that about search engines. Imagine trying to search through pages and pages of useless topics trying to find relevant information. No I haven't gone bonkers. I am not talking about bad old pre Google days but today. Try to figure out a problem with CVS or bugzilla or mailman. I wonder if anyone else felt the same.
Or if you end up trying to figure out PHP errors you are getting and your favorite search engine instead of telling you more about this error shows you more pages with showing similar errors. Is it an interesting problem to be solved by search engines (as in read the mind of a search-surfer)

Migrated Tarun Dua Personal Site to Drupal

Finally migrated my site to a very capable CMS system.
Drupal is a very capable content management system that allows creation of short friendly URL aliases. Organization/type/hierarchy agnostic content creation.
Along with creating short friendly URLs using Drupal. I also used the mod_rewrite from apache to maintain compatibility with existing links. So if anyone still clicks on the older pages from search engine links or any friends who linked to me will still be able to fetch the updated content from the same URLs.

Drupal has a very capable content organization system called taxonomy.
I am still exploring the goodies it has to offer me in terms of enhanced blogging experience.

I like Drupal over other personal Content Management Systems I tried during last few days including Mambo and PHPNuke. I haven't tried many others although I am going to put in more effort into Mambo which looks promising.
