An interesting idea on Computer Based Trainer

It is sometimes very interesting to watch a geek who is very productive with the tools he/she is using by just recording the continuous motion on the screen and even better to have the audio interleaved with the screen motion. This is one of the cheapest and most effective ways of introducing how to use a particularly complex piece of software. On windows there are one or two good screen-cams with voice recording support available. However that doesn't interest me, there are plenty of good CBTs out there all targeted towards windows. With linux I could find two particularly good softwares with some suggestions from fellow geeks at #linux-india on Freenode for doing just that.
Xvidcap: which doesn't exactly rock on my slow machine but can produce a reasonably good copy at lower frame-rates. Another particularly good one is vnc2swf which uses a novel concept of converting the output of vnc to a flash video. I am sure the addition of sound later would be trivial. Thus one can actually go ahead and create CBTs for the favourite Open Source softwares in a jiffy.
