Gaurav Bhatnagar ( Tekriti Software ) His motivation to quit the job without an Idea and the Return to India from the Silicon Valley and other US locations. Be Practical and other major points that were discussed between Gaurav and the audience: |

Abhishek Agarwal:- How to start a startup Between Abhishek and Audience the following things were discussed Starting with Motivation of starting up:- What kind of stories do you want to tell your grand children how do you want to be introduced at a party ? People with un-realized potential are a cause of startups ? Abhishek is comparing right now the various things you need to have to startup in Web 2.0 , Product or Service companies. Abhishek made a very strong statement about money being an issue for not starting up right now because if you believe in your idea it is always possible to raise money its not as if that anyone actually needs to invest his own money into a startup. 1. Want to gain experience He is currently debunking them one by one. Time Window of high economic growth in India might pass away if it is not now. Idea Arbitrage:- The meta idea of creating a web-startup which is tried and tested in US and replicating the same in India e.g. Ebay and Baazi being an Example. Expanding this the meta idea , I believe in this " hey lets go and look at all the portfolio companies of what big VCs are funding in the valley right now figure what can be done in India with more longevity and faster than those companies and force them to die or make them buy us out, we can have hundreds of such startups right here in India instead of working for outsourcing companies which make their best and brightest work for the very same valley's early stage funded startups" |
