They disconnect call every 30 mins on Prepaid. They dont want to understand that my officeconference calls are getting disconnected every 30 mins. Nor do they want to help

• I got a new phone nokia n97, and with that I got a offer from Vodafone that ill get 20mb free download for 3 months and a free nokia Bluetooth headset. For dat I had to msg groove to 111 n download some software widget…I tried it but I was not able to download it…so I went to Vodafone store (Punjabi bahg,new delhi) n spoke to customer care executive puneet…he downloaded dat software n told me dat now its ready to use….i asked him about d free headset..n he said we vill give a confirmation to nokia and aftr dat dey vl call you n deliever it at your billing address….
After just a week(on 4th sep) I found dat my bill was rs.3100…I was shocked…coz I had not made any calls and den n in d evening I again checked my bill it was showing rs.3700 widout even using my phone..… n on 28th aug only I paid my previous bill of rs.600 ,all my previous bbills are less than rs.1300…..n When i called the cutomer care (111 from vodafone mobile) they said u have crossed ur credit limit so plzz pay ur amount to activate ur outgoing service.
I requested her to mail me my bill details,,,buh she refused to do dat….
• The next morning my bill it was rs.4100…I went to the same Vodafone store again….n dat executive puneet was not present dat day….soo I spoke to other executive kartik….i asked him dat I want to see my bill details…he said as ur billing date is 15th so I cant generate ur bill before 15th….i explained him dat my bill is increasing every second, and I cant wait till 15th…dunnw wot amount it will reach by den….and I have to go out of town,,,my calls are also barred…so u kindly resolve the issue and tok to ur senior as what can b done coz m not going to pay dis huge amount widout even using it…..
Hearing this he said okii ill see ur bill details(which he was not able to do before) n told me dat all dis is ur gprs charges…u hv downloadedstuff from d internet…..
• I assured them i did not download anything, I don’t even have time for it,I am working full day in office, but they replied that their systems dont lie indirectly stating i m a fool to complain. I requested them to register a complain, so incase there is a mistake from their part it may get cleared. But they refused to take any such complains because their system indicated that i had downloaded stuff from the internet (and telling me their systems are flawless). Then they agreed to transfer my call to their senior representative, but after transfering the phone just rang for a long time but no reply from the senior.
• I don’t know what dey activated on my phone, as I never sued any web page aftr dat…..coz I am working in office, n full day I access internet from deir, I juz wanted to activate d groove thing to claim the free nokia Bluetooth headset…which I have not received even till now…..n now dey r even refusing dat d scheme with n97 was valid only till 31st august…and nowhere in the offer it is mentioned…..
• I am distressed with hutch now and despite being with HUTCH in POSTPAID for 3 Years and , now I cancelled the connection and switched over to other subscriber as my bill was increasing evry second ,without evn touching my mobile pone, and even aftr my calls were barred, so I juz had to switch off my number.
I really dunt understand if my credit limit is rs.2000,n evrytime dey keep track of ur bill, dat as sooon as u exceed ur credit limit they message u the same day n barred ur calls…but it didn’t happnd this time…..i got a call wen my bill reachd rs.3700;why are you cheating the customers?????????

Nightmare with Vodafone Customer Care
Here yet another nightmare experience with Vodafone…… i dont understand what is all buzz about ZooZoo’s but customer service level is dropped to 0%. I was asked to be on hold for more than twenty minutes when i asked for a senior to talk. The whole problem started when i took a Add-on card for my exisiting number which i am using from five years. My billing mode is ECS. and i get hard copy of my bills to my mailing address which is there in thier records since 4 years. And from past two i am getting callls from multiple Vodafone reps asking for my address verification i requested them to come to my mailing address and get the needful done.. No body came to my home… ann today i am getting a message …. your number has been disconnected…. :)…. allright i called the CUSTOMER CARE…. spoke to Saif .. no help…. and spoke to lady named Supriya … gosh this girl is so unproffessional asking me to disconnect the services if i am not happy and asking me to use Airtel ??????????….

i am really very annoyed over my tries to get detailed bill for my mobile.
call centre has given me two options
1) to open site www.vodafone.in/myvodafone
and use login and password to check you vodafone detailed bill.
but in two days i could not open the site.
only once it opened and information of bill on site was not easy to find out and in the mean time site was again in its non operating mode.
2) i requested to send bill on my registered email id.but its 2nd day and i have not received the bill till the moment.

There is no option to speak to customer care executive when I call Vodafone Care in TN. This has been for the past 1 week. I asked the Vodafone store, they don't even reply when you ask. On asking further, they say that yes there is a temporary problem. If I want to enable some service, they say you have to call customer care only. And there is no option to speak to someone there. Has Vodafone gone nuts? Or have they laid off all their call center people?

I have taken a vodafone connection on 20th Feb, 2009 (Biggest mistake of my life). I have got my black berry services activated by paying Rs.6999 as annual rent. I have received a call on 9th March, 2009 that my accountlimit is exceeded as my current outstanding is Rs.1990 after adjusting Rs.6999/. I was shocked to hear it and asked her to check my bill. Then I have checked online bill (after great effort) and I found out that even after paying Rs.6999 annual charges for black berry I was charged monthly rental for blackberry of Rs.899/-. Then I written to customer care and also nodal officer. On 10Th March, they disconnected my services. I have called up customer care and informed him that bill is wrong. However he was not able to help me out and he simply told me that sir if you want to activate service please make payment. He told me that I understand that you have been billed excess and also it is very clear that there is excess billing but still you would have to make payment to activate services
Is this not some type of goondaism. You bill the customer whatever you want and then ask customer to make payment, after you make payment, we would reveserse extra charges. This is a clear loot.
I have never got so much frustrated in my life but today Was the day when I have realised that in 29 years of life I have made my first mistake by choosing vodafone. Please never select vodafone. Even after reading this if your buying vodafone then you are biggest fool

Vodafone is a criminal company. The logo dog is apparent to the culture of customer care staff. the abuse, threat, bark and abuse. I thought that this is an internation company but after getting connection no 982030xxxx in Mumbai I've got horrible experience with the call center supervisor. The company management know that they have appointed criminal outfits as supervisors. i've decided to get rid of the connection.
Beware of this company before getting connection. Company management can check the recording of the date 2-3-09, time 1AM to 2AM. This company not recommended.

My wife also has post paid connection 9999896739 .
I had made first request on 3rd July 2008 in VODAFONE store in DAWARKA for problem in NETWORK.I have call drop problem and signal come to 0 , my flat is located on first floor.
I had to call back from where I used to get calls . above that I had to keep mu mobil in kitchen and when call used to come I had to run to balcony for signal.
After this I had made several calls to VODAFONE CUSTOMER care , Nothing was done.
I August i Spoke to SUPERVSIOR in Customer Care and he assure me that problem will be solved in48 hrs. But nothing was done.
I was assured till network problem is solved no one will ask for payment. I was assured but I was getting calls everyday.
Since My wife and my no. was POST PAID VODAFONE CONNECTION. I made compliants under my No. 9899757541.
In Sept. I was out from 4th to 16th and I had called customer care and told them I will be out and not to call me .I was shocked to know that VODAFONE and sent someone to collect money , I house my parents told this guy that we were out.
Again when I was back on 16th My phone was disconnected and I called VODAFONE and again They again gave me a REF. no. for my new compalint . This was 3rd REF. NO for SAME COMPLAINT OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
I at last gave up my post paid connection and BLACK BERRY SERVICE. paid all due amount and moved to prepaid service so that I save money.

This is reference to my call with Hyderabad call center with Ramesh, Srinath, Rahul (Supervisor), Ram Krishnan (Supervisor) on 24 Jun 208 from 2000 hrs to 2200 Hrs.
I am having Mobile no 9966822815 and it is my prepaid card. I am also using Vodafone post paid number 9820418497 which is my primary. I have recharged for Rs 550/- few days back for my prepaid. Today when I try to make a call, the voice messages says I do not have enough balance to make call. When I checked the balance it was showing minus Rs. 100 /-. I immediately called customer care and talk to Ramesh, since he did not find the solution he transferred to his supervisor Ram Krishnan. Ram Krishnan verified all my accounts patiently and concluded that I am having Rs 100 Positive amount. Also, He says i can make an outgoing call since the service is active. He also requested me to give me a call after verifying the same. With thanks, I disconnected my call and try to use the prepaid number to call other number. This time also I was having same problem. Again, I have contacted customer care, this time it was Srinath and he is also connected me to his supervisor Rahul. Rahul is looking impatience and not listening to me. He over took me, before I complete my sentence. He also went hot, when i tried to explain what I had talked to Ram Krishnan. He was also not accepting my complaint and he refuses to give contact details of nodal officers. Since I am using Hutch/Vodafone for almost 3 1/2 years, this is the first time for such a genuine complaint, the call center guy (Rahul) is refused to accept and become anger over me. It is sad that your "Happy to Help" is not working with this kind of customer treatment. If I am not getting justice, I will think to terminate all my Vodafone service and all publish this in all consumer forums. But I hope I will get the justice soon.

I went to the Vodafone gallary to deactivate my Sim, as the firend on whose name i took it was going out of town permanently. At the store, the Vodafone guy took an application written from me along with the payment of duely checked balance amount and added his signature and seal to it. He took it with himself and when i asked for having its xerox, he said we don have xerox machine here with us and be assured u'll have the services deactivated shortly.
The Sim card wasnt used for 3 continuous months and we thought it has been deactivated. we dint receive any calls from Vodafone regarding the bills as well.
In April, they called me up (on my alternative no. which I had to give while purchasing new Sim) and said the due amount has gone upto Rs 1500 and I need to pay it. Most important of all, the Sim was NOT deactivated!
I am not able to understand as to what the Vodafone does in the name of providing telephony services.

I faced a similar problem. I took a vodafone post paid number last year. I lost the phone while travelling near Mathura on 26 Jnauary 2009. I immediately called uo the customer care centre and asked them to disconnect the service (It took more than 15 mins to get through and get the number disconnected).I checked to see if they had disconnected it and it was done within 30 min of my complaint. My billing date was on 2nd of Feb. I expected them to send me a bill for the month and terminate the service as i did not request for a reactivation of the number. But Vodafone with their objetive to cheat their customer, sent me a letter stating that they will be reactivating the service if i didnt give them a letter stating that i did not want it reactivated (inspite of no request for activation from my side). They delivered it to my neighbour in my absence. When i returned on 3rd Feb from the trip, I immediately wrote a letter and sent it to the Vodafone gallery through my friend as I work from Mon-Fri. The next day I gave the letter to a executive in the gallery personally. However these cheats did not disconnect the service. I also called their customer care and asked them to send me a termination letter quoting the settlement amount amounting to my January bill. This was never sent to me. I dont use this stupid service since i lost my mobile and these people harass me by speaking rudely to me and my family members occasionally. I have never told them that i will not pay for what i used, but i will not pay extra. Why should I? What should I do now? I am planning to register a complaint against these people. How to go about it?

A week back I switched to Vodafone.
Everything was fine but suddenly one morning there was some problem with Vodafone sim card. It was not getting detected.
I got a replacement-it was very fast.
But for activation of this new sim card it taking a hell lot of time. Every time I call them (from land line) I get the answer that it will be activated in 1 hour. Now almost 48 hrs have passed and I eveven called the regional manager and again I got the same answer. It will be activated in 1 hour. I lost my temper and I shouted at that person. (Mr. Harshad). He has now assured me that new sim card will be activated in another 24 hours. I cant understand one thing if a new connection can be obtained within 1 hour and why is it taking more than 48 hrs to rectify a problem. And if they knew that it is going to take such a long time then why was I given that stupid answer that It will be done in 1 hour.
Parallel connection
I cant understand why vodafone extend the facility of parallel connection to customers who have two connections? Their customer care says 'yes' but ask you to take two different connections. Let Vodafone think of parallel connection under a single Bill. What is the reaction?

Vodafone India sucks BIG TIME.
I got a vodafone connection and submitted all documents. After couple of days they barred my clip and outgoing saying they have not received documents. Then I resubmitted on their vodafone shop and now they say they have recieved but will not activate until they verify. Do hell with their process, I bought the connection, paid for it and I am being harassed coz their supply chain is weak. Not to mention umpteen calls I made to their customer care, customer care calls dropping any arbitrary time, and long wait times.

this is more than the worst experience i am having since the day i choose to vodafone.
I have long story to tell you and planning to go to consumer court as i am being troubled again and again.
I took this connection in march it took long than a week to get the sim working.. then i applied for GPRS plan and again the same duration to get the plan working.... well i called 111 hundreds of time and customer care hardly get connected and even if gets connected, 8 out of 10 times ypur happy to help representative hanged up with out even care to listen to the customer.. is this the way they are pretty happy to help????.
Well that also pass over some how.. now i was traveling and i found that my Vodafone sim is deactivated with out any notice this was the time i had to think to go to consumer court.. it was ridiculous and frustrating to get the sim deactivated at the time i was traveling and needed it on top of everything..
well i tried 100 times customer care no. 111 (happy to help you) but they are pretty unhappy to even get the call it seems.. they do not even want to listen what is the problem of customer.. instead they forced me to pay the bill (mind it that I was traveling and was not in the condition to pay the bill and told the same thing to Vodafone happy to help CSRs) what i was not supposed to as i am using GPRS 299 unlimited plan that Vodafone consolidated at the end of the month so that is not my responsibility.. and when they do it at the end of month the bill is supposed to exceed the limit for sure.. hell they do not even understand this thing.. anyhow one gentleman understood and activated the phone .. phew!
but no next day again they deactivated the same indulging mr to go to consumer court and file a case against them. many a times i called customer care ()unhappy to help you) and got once in hundred times and they were so adamant that they kept telling that we get ur request and will do the need full. i can not write how frustrating it was when u need it at the most and u don't get it all u get it negative response from the service provider who promises happy to help you..
finally i paid the amount because i needed it, not the Vodafone cares about the customer.. i am really surprised how long it will take Vodafone to disappear from Indian market if the same is the case with other customer.. i am possessing the corporate plan so i wonder how much the normal people would have been suffering.. if this is the way they respond to a corporate customer..

Conclusion is i have 299 unlimited price plan. if you consolidate it at the end that is not my problem and my services should get deactivated without a prior notice.
I am planning to go to consumer court anyhow.
This was the biggest mistake i made in choosing Vodafone. i am suffering a lot for it.

vodafone: one of the worst service provider
the hopeless callcenter executives of vodafone have been very rude at times while talking..... they dont even try to understand my concern..... i wanted to temporarily disconnect my postpaid sim...... since i lost my mobile phone along with and later i found that my sim was missused by somebody having due of 1500+... now tell me who is responsible for this.... irresective of this they send a notice to me for not paying the dues......
guys it has happened to me it can happen to you too...... dont ever trust on vodafone...... and if you have xperienced something bad like me..... switch on to some other service provider......
just let them understand that customers are more valuable then money.....
VODA FONE customer service sucks
I have been a customer of VODAFONE (erstwhile MAXTOUCH /ORANGE /HUTCH)for about 8 years now... In the past there have been times where I have not paid the amount due to them in time and have ended paying a penalty for it. The inability to pay has been purely due to my hectic schedule or blame it on my absent mindedness!
Ever since VODAFONE took over the services from HUTCH; trust me my life has become miserable; despite the fact that I have ensure the payment of due well before the due date!
First they automatically subscribe me to some caller tunes and charge me for it!
Then they automatically subscribe me to some SMS services and charge me for it!
Each time it has been a horrendous effort to make your way through the call center agents who are annoying most of the time! They just keep repeating themselves. But the positive side is, they boost your self esteem; atleast you are not a parrot like they are!
Then came the worst, VODAFONE disconnected my services claiming that I had not paid the dues! To my fortune, I was traveling and had to hunt around for time and a cyber cafe to check my bank statement; hurray I seem to have paid them the amount!
Again the cycle of call center agents... but then remember it boosted my self esteem!
Finally sent them the payment details and got the services restored!
This has been going on for the last several months (ever since VODAFONE took over!)
The latest; last month Jan 15, 2008 I have paid the dues. However on the due date Jan 25, 2008 I get an SMS reminder asking me to payup; realising they have goofed again, I sent them the usual mail with all the transaction details; but VODAFONE deem fit to disconnect my services. On calling their call center, I gathered from the floor manager Sunil Pai that he is in receipt of the mail and did not bother to do nothing about it; instead when I call he tells me that I need to send him a facsmile of the bank statement!
LOL I guess I will not wait for the number portability, I will just get another number from another service provider!
Bless VODAFONE, do not curse them, remember they boost your self esteem!

Suresh,like yours,my self-esteem is riding high after dealing with vodafone recently. They would not accept my employer's letter as proof of residence,and wanted all sorts of funny wording in the letters (this after taking Rs. 1500 advance for my and my wife's connections).Then they issued 2 tel. nos. which they cancelled after a couple of days and assigned 2 new nos. Then they interchanged our talk plans.Then someone called up to find out if the changed plans were correct or not.When I said no,they sent me SMS saying that as requested by me,the plans had been reversed!Today I got a letter mentioning the changed plans only!
Anyway,my guess is that this organization is like an orphan,so everyone feels like doing what they want with their moronic intelligence!
Torture by VODAFONE
I support fully the experiences narrated above as I am undergoing the similar torture for the last few months. I keep getting the unsolicited messages about fortune/South Africa-Pakistan cricket score , Bollywood tunes etc which I have not asked for neither am interested in. My battery dischrges due to receipt of such trash rather than due to the calls made by me.
Most INSULTING PART IS WHEN i GET A MESSAGE TO PAY MY OVERDUE BILL ON TIME TO AVOID DISCONTINUANCE OF THE SERVICE.
Let me tell every one reading this that not a single payment was delayed on my part since MAXTOUCH days. The reason given is that these are system generated messages and should be ignored.
Common, I refuse to believe that in these days of TECH savvy service providers VODAFONE or for that matter any servoce provider cannot link the system to the track record of the customer for his/her bill payment track record and only select those who have defaulted even once.
I cannot be tolerant for such nuisance every month and am seriously considering the option of switching over to other service provider.
Will anyone take cognizance of this??

its ironical to state that my most usable service provider has dissappointed me...... hutch which is now vodafone is very bad in terms of customer service, billing and payments..... etc.... its been a nightmare now for me to have vodafone connection. anybody reading this blog...... please dont have vodafone connection..... its really bad.....
Complete Breakdown in Vodafone Services
Due to inefficient setup of Vodafone in India , I had requested them on their no. 9811098110 to disconect my no. which is 10 years old. Ihave also written them on mail but even 24 hrs after they have not been able to disconnect the line.
For Air & Rail booking services also , their site is not working. My current bill paid on 1st Dec. is shown outstanding till today, the 4rth Nov.
